I'm not sure how healthy veganism or vegetarianism are for your entire lifespan, but our diets could and should use much less meat, like 5% the currently consumed amount of meat or less. Such a diet would suitable to the vast majority of people and I'm not really sympathetic nor receptive to arguments centered on the small minority of people for which such a diet would be dangerous or intractible. As a vegetarian in a southern state I get to deal with a culture that thinks everything needs meat. Fucking bacon in milkshakes.
