Show HN: A techno machine in one HTML file, with verifiable renders (ssx360.github.io)

I love beautiful software and this is it

Edit: I just downloaded the html file and it still works locally as a single page app, no external libs, no fonts, icons, nothing that could break the correct functioning of the app. This is how software should be built, portable, no installation required, drop anywhere and run

Kudos on everything perfectly executed

Good point. GlassBox also appears as single page. https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=49421948

I am working on an RSS reader that is also single page and location-agnostic. Issue for me right now is CORS unblocking as that does entail some complexity to workaround. Current length of the HTML is 2500 lines / 101KiB.

Moreover, just like https://theresanaiforthat.com/ - a great thing to see would be something like thereisanHTMLforthat.com - because quality vibe-coding delivers!

Also, a single HTML can easily be security audited, right? How much damage can it do?

Yep! And it works well on iOS too. Safari sucks and stutters with some of these single file html and I haven’t been able to figure out why, but my god this is awesome and also fun to play with!

Ditto on the lovelyness of single-file, zero-dep, standalones. In my day job I'm stripping out hundreds of megabytes from one of our main docker containers, but running into little projects like this that make me smile. Beautiful

Like i get what you are saying, but

> no external libs, no fonts...

It needs an entire browser.

drfloyd51 3 hours ago [-]
I get what you are saying. But… if it didn’t need a browser, it still needs a runtime, and a computer, and electricity, and technology to print CPUs and and and

A browser is just a drop in the bucket.

I know the renders are verifiable, but are the splines reticulated?

Love this. I want this to go up to 174 bpm for some DnB experiments.

Instant fan, looks great, sounds great, reproducible.

Nice work and thank you for sharing!

What is this built on? How can I use it? What're the licensing? I'm eagerly looking for open source and non-copy-left licensed web audio players for projects.

What kind of projects?

Nice!!! A bit hard to understand if you haven't used anything related before, but interesting enough to make you wanted to try it when you haven't used anything related before ahaha

It's a bit difficult to use, but it's really fun.

... Why do renders need to be verifiable, what does that mean?

Anyway, on a related note, I just vibed together something in the same vein (using Ox Alpha, because why not). https://aamen-veli.akx.fi/

Very cool. I'm currently awaiting delivery of a Sonicware deconstruct MINIMAL. I'm hoping it's as fun to play with as this is.

Good job, very nice implementation. I do love the single page HTML delivery format. Downloaded

see the font, close the tab

What about the font? Is that a typical LLM font or something?
kkukshtel 9 hours ago [-]
the otherwise fawning praise in the comments for something that seems so obviously vibe-coded is making me wonder if all these one sentence replies are bots
testaccount28 9 hours ago [-]
maybe they vibed up some prompt injections. anyway, nice of them to tell on themselves.

Very Cool!! FYI the opengraph image, when I share the link, is an invoice from what looks like your freelance work.
